For neopolitan pizza, you really want hotter than that, plus it's got a 25 minute warm up time. Also, since that style of pizza cooks in 60-90 seconds, you get no benefit or taste of wood smoke conferred to the pizza. A gas fired pizza oven is faster, more convenient, and more capable than this oven.

Yes, this oven does other stuff but, if you are looking for a neopolitan pizza oven, pass on this and buy something designed for specifically that.

Pretty good price for the range of function it offers. But don't even think about using this as a smoker unless you plan on using it ONLY as a smoker. The inside will be covered in baked on tar after one long smoking session. I think you could also significantly upgrade this oven by replacing the pizza stone with a 12x12x1/2" slab of cleaned/seasoned A36 steel. The additional thermal mass will compensate for the lower max temp.

This deal does not make me want to splurge on a pizza oven, but it sure does make me want to splurge on a pizza!

I own this - This Ninja Pizza oven is amazing for the price. Makes great pizzas - all styles. The big surprise was how well it roasts a whole chicken and how amazing smoked brisket does as well. BTW - you definitely need to get a pizza peel, and just letting everyone know that dough handling is not as easy as it looks.....

This sounds like a great idea but I can only imagine cooking/roasting/smoking anything other than a pizza would be a nightmare to clean? Can anyone confirm? Also, lots of recent reviews that these die after a year or two. Any long term users? The fact that it is on Woot at this price point is giving me pause but I soooooo love the idea of this thing.

How many pizzas can you cook before you have to add more wood?

What's the difference between this and my stove oven I already own?

I'm a big fan of this thing--I probably mention that whenever I see it on sale. I use it for bread, pizzas (fresh and frozen), smoking meat, and roasting meat. Most of those (sans smoking) I can do in my normal oven, but I prefer this in the summer when I don't want to heat up the whole house.

Had mine for a year and a half. But as much as I use it, I would happily replace it for $200 if it died today.

Sure the inside does gets dark when you smoke, but that doesn't keep you from using it for other things. Food either touches the pizza stone (which you don't use while smoking) or the steel tray which can be cleaned.

We love ours and we paid at least 50% more than this a year ago. We almost exclusively use it to make pizza, though-- but that pizza comes out so good using simple and cheap ingredients

i have one and I love it but I'm gonna say if they offer a warranty add-on get it. there is apparently a common issue where grease or dirt or whatever gets into the button area and they stop responding and you cannot start the unit to cook.

this happened just after a year (on thanksgiving!!) so we were outside warranty and all shark ninja offered was 30% off a new unit.

Since it's only 700 degrees it takes 3m - 3 1/2 m to cook a Neopolitan in this. That is, in fact, enough time to give smoke flavor to bread.
