Good deal for the product but...I will always opt for the knock-off (Thermoflask or whatever) at warehouse clubs for $30/pair.

This is a cool tumbler. My question is if this is one of the models that contains lead above the base protection area.
If they are moving away from these versions, then yes, that might be why they are being discounted so much possibly (not saying this is the case though).
