lotta powah? Well, not really when you consider you can get a 3KwH Pecron for 800 bucks. That would be substantially a lot more power for less money if you bought 2 of them. I'm not talking about any other features/advantages/disadvantages between going either route, I'm only talking about $ per Wh.

It seems the unit has lots of issues. And you can't update firmware for it.

I never unpacked it. I just don't want to be without a feature because of bugs

The Pecron F3000LFP ($0.26/kWh) doesn't support parallel split-phase operation. A pair of E3600LFP ($0.36/kWh) can do split phase at a higher price than the Oupes unit ($0.37/kWh).

Single-unit split-phase power stations from other manufacturers demand a high premium:
  • Ecoflow Delta 3 Pro, a little under 50 cents per kWh.
  • Anker F3800 & Plus, 50-60 cents per kWh
  • Bluetti Apex 300 - a little under 50 cents per kWh
  • Jackery Homepower 5000 - 50-60 cents per kWh
Pecron F5000 is coming soon (since early 2025!), I think it will be price-competitive with the Oupes Guardian whenever it actually ships. Reviews for the Guardian are pretty critical, if I were in the market without an urgent need I would wait.

Sounds like they're maybe working on this for a new rev but early units cannot update firmware period. Seems like a huge miss.

Per Wh, not per kWh. LOL but anyways. I fully understand everything you just said, but I did make it clear I was talking strictly about $ per Wh and not any other features/advantages/disadvantage. If you read that part, it would have saved you a lot of time posting all of that.

I wasn't even going as cheap as possible because If you want to go as cheap as possible. The Oupes Exodus 2400 is is on sale for $449 and that breaks down to a scant 20 cents per Wh, or 5 Wh's per dollar. However you want to look at it.
