Remastered and I would've jumped in.. for those in doubt, get it. The original AW was amazing before it turned into a multi dimensional clicker switching bullshit. 1 is the goat.

I wish they still made games like this, where the story is captivating in its narration and atmosphere. Some people aren't impressed with the game play because it's a lot of walking through forests and destroying enemies, but for me the story outweighs that by far.

Playing through American Nightmare right now. A real step down from AW1's main campaign's story, directing, etc but it is more open world so there is that. Voice acting is pretty bad and so is them leaning way too hard into the The Twilight Zone thing. It started out seeming like they were poking fun at a trope but is 2 hours I've decided it is just cliche. I haven't had to suffer any driving parts so that is a huge win Wink

I'll likely still finish it though.
