I dont recommend this seller. Advertises clearly used and abused crap as brand new.

Happened to me too. Claimed open box NEW. That it's only the packaging, and instead what I got was a well worn and used item.

He's not quite right, it's not officially Walmart, it's a seller who sells refurbs or open box items from retail chains. The seller is VIPOutlet, and look at his feedback on ebay, and Walmart. He's sold over 4.1 Million items on ebay since 2002 with 770k seller reviews, and has over 22,000 Seller Reviews on Walmart. That's incredible. I sell on both of them, and the % of people who leave reviews on Walmart is terrrrrible. Like 1 in 500. (ebay is like 1 in 10) This guy has sold a TON of stuff. So if you happen to get a bad product, I bet he has a replacement with that amount of volume.

So this is weird....
I ordered from Walmart, and it arrived today, but I received a Sony S40R 5.1 system instead.

I'm not sure what to think. The Sony is brand new, but it's not an Atmos system.
And now the link on Walmart is dead. So I guess they ran out of systems and just sent me the Sony.

Can't decide if I should keep it, or order the ONN system from Ebay?
What would you do?

Received mine sunday. Missing mounting hardware and obviously has been dropped. Plastic cracked off and super dusty.

If seller does a partial refund ill keep. Everything works fine but still disappointed with condition

That's a nice deal if its brand new. Sony is obviously a brand name, and Onn is a Walmart internal brand. Sure it has Atmos (which is a big feature), but I question the sound quality, and more importantly, you'd likely get a used POS anyhow. Consider yourself lucky.

Yeah, I'm hanging on to it for now. It honestly doesn't fit the area I want to put it on as well as the Onn. So I order "another" Onn. Waiting on it still. At worst I've got a family member who is looking for a soundbar so I'll pass the Sony on to them. We will see.
