This game is weird and a little slow to start. It gets good and even more weird. I enjoyed this one thoroughly.

I think I got it for free on PlayStation+.
I would say that it is worth $20-$30 and I'm a cheapskate.

Janky they don't discount the bundle if you already own some of the games (on Steam). Only give you the option to gift extra copies. Most of the time (99% of the time) Steam does discount owned titles so I can only assume that was the publisher's decision.

FWIW, Control standard and Ultimate have been free before, check your libraries before purchase.

I believe this is the lowest price since they started including the macOS version.

They stopped doing the pro-rated discounts last Steam Sale.

We unfortunately live in a time when some people will call everything they don't like "woke". Not saying anyone on SD is like that, but people like that do exist.

Thats not true, I bought a bundle (which I already owned half of) on Monday that not only discounted the item that I already owned, but still applied the 10% "bundle discount" and prorates the existing games.

FWIW, I think you are confusing the new 'gifting' policy to supersede entirely the behavior I am discussing. Which that too takes into account games already owned.

https://www.pcgamer.com/software/...discounts/

"The discounting feature works as it should: if you buy a bundle for someone who already has some of the games featured in it, it'll cost you less overall. I've tested this myself with some Steam friends and this Ghost Recon bundle—for those who don't have any of the games, it would cost me £43 to gift it. For those who already have some of them, it's cheaper."

For example, unlike Control / Alan Wake above, The Far Cry series is also on sale, I own all of the Far Cry's (via Steam) except 1 and 6, Steam is NOT trying to charge me for the complete series, including the games I already own, forcing me to "gift" the extra keys (again, like unlike Control / Alan Wake is....thus my comment), but is only attempting to charge me for the remainder, which is just FC1 and FC6, the only titles I do not own via Steam DRM.

Copied and pasted from Steam at 10:40AM 1/21/2026:
"Buy Far Cry Bundle BUNDLE, 7 of 9 items from this bundle are already in your library. Buy this bundle to save 10% off the 2 items you don't yet have!"

Dude probably got butthurt and called it woke because a minority character showed up at some point in the game.
