I have been waiting on some deal on the track saw itself. Only ones I found were on Ryobi and those tracks are proprietary design, not very well rated.

These are also compatible with the Makita and Festool tracks, at $73.94:

I can vouch for the Wen tracks. I have 2 Makita tracks and these. They are not quite as good but close enough. I initially got them to trim the edges of a 30' table top, and leap-frogged them as I went. Then I permanently bolted the Wen tracks to a 10' piece of 1/2" plywood, and added another board at 90 degrees to give it some rigidity. Now I can set it down for ripping full sheets without fiddling with the alignment. It was about 80% cheaper than the 110" one-piece track.

I have WEN tracks and saw, and for the price, I agree the saw is pretty darn good, especially if you are mostly doing 90 degree cuts on plywood or softwood. For thick hardwood or miter cuts, I however find the saw has significantly less power to rip through without marring. Its possible that may improve with a blade that has a higher tooth count, but I have not tried that yet. The 6.5" blades are much more expensive compared to the 7.25" ones; so that is something to consider on whether the extra $40 or so for one size up makes sense for you over long term due to blade cost difference.

The usability of the saw is somewhat ok-ish in my opinion - putting them back in track required fiddling with 2 knobs. But again, for under $150, these limitations are expected. For me, personally I rip plywoods at 90-degree >90% of the time, and occasionally 2x4 douglas firs; so the WEN track saw is perfect for me. Dust collection is not great, but if you are a "once in a while" user like me, you can get away with doing cuts on your driveway, then blowing away all the saw dust using a leaf blower.

The tracks themselves are slightly less grippy, but again, for this price (under $75) they are perfectly acceptable to me.

I suggest skipping the clamps however, the WEN clamps were very low quality and did not have the holding power. I returned them after just one use because they were fairly useless in my opinion. Instead, I went with a 4x8 insulation sheet that I lay flat on the ground and use the track saw to cut over that insulation sheet.

How repeatably accurate are these when I split them apart and put them back together?

I plan on storing them apart.

Go ahead and store them apart. Even if you keep them together, you will have to continually check registration.

Even the Festool tracks are a little flimsy at the join. TSO products made a self-centering track-joining piece, but that too is flimsy at the join. If moving them attached, you have to handle with care, and I always confirm alignment with a long box level pushed up against the track sections.

Frankly, since it's so much fuss, I almost never join tracks. I just line them up and make sure to push straight. It takes only a little practice.
