I bought this exact model from BB on Black Friday for $850. It's not going to win any speed awards, but it's solid. Crazy good deal for $750.

Are you certain it a good deal? I like this except the storage. 512GB is too small for large library of games, along with other variable files.

define light gaming? I have the legion 5 with a 4070, which is about the same as the 5060 i think. I've done fortnite, world of warships, hogwarts. Runs fine. I don't have the newest games like cyberpunk or battlefield 6. Might get helldivers 2 though, and it should run fine enough on medium or high.

Not 100 percent certain but I THINK there's a slot for a second m2 drive? Someone please jump in and correct me if I'm wrong Smilie

although with AI gobbling up all the computer parts much like a dearanged pac-man it could be expensive finding a decent m2 drive to go into that slot in the first place Smilie

That's why in my opinion it best to secure a deal like this but 1TB or higher. Kill 2 birds in one stone. I do not have a spare m2 drive unfortunately

It an OK deal. The price is not an issue. It storage. 512GB too low unless u have a spare 1+TB m2 drive.

you have ddr3? fyi: ddr5 is almost 2x speed than ddr4 (in many cases). so its not just how much gb that matters, it also what type of ddr/other memory you use. Sure 13 years ago it was something almost useless for now perhaps.

Just picked up an excellent condition one tonight. Quickly realizing 512 is not enough space lol.

These best buy open box deals are so ymmv that I think the only price allowed should be the one that ships. Tell me, does anyone see a good condition one available for 699. I bet for some of these, there are zero available anywhere

To help you with your research, in my area in the Midwest, only Excellent is available as a shipping-only option.
