Anyone think I should bite? I'm building a blu ray collection but am worried I'm sacrificing quality with this purchase. Also Amazon's Rufus says price has been at this point for quite some time

Check Blu-ray.com for information on the transfers. Likely the same as the individual BD.

If you have or plan to build a Atmos setup, this series is worth waiting for a deal on the 4K version that includes the Atmos soundtrack. I only have the first movie on 4K disc, but it does a great job of using those height channels during the games.
