Right, but nowhere near the torque of a socket wrench. I guess if you don't have room for a socket wrench, then this would come in handy. But I already have tons of drivers with bits, so this seems superfluous.

Only if what you are working on is metric. Practically all household stuff (plumbing, electric, HVAC, etc.) is SAE.
