Specifically the Amazon Basics version or non-scratch sponges in general?

I use Scotch-Brite zero scratch sponges and they're amazing. Clean super well without scratching any steel surfaces. I like them more than the Scrub Daddy sponges my wife keeps buying.

These are terrible even the Scotch versions. Try the Dobie or Mr. Scrub versions. They just work better, last longer, and don't stink as quickly.

The Amazon Basics version. They disintegrate super fast. The scotch-brite blues last like 10 times longer.

If stink is the problem, I heartily recommend keeping your sponges and scrubbing pads as two separate items instead of one holey unholy combination.

we do. and we microwave them. the amazon basics also deteriorate far quicker leaving bits in the sink.
