All desktop PSUs should be semi-modular. You literally cannot use the PSU without a couple of those cables, so why add failure points of male/female pins on those? Additionally, if you view the photo of the cables in this particular PSU, it's clear the hardwired cables also take up less space on the PSU. It's literally all wins.

I cheaped out and got this a while ago and regret it, due to noise. Getting a PSU that is silent when below 40% or 50% load is a far better experience day to day since browsing is much quieter.

ive bought multiple for pc builds. If you're interested in a build message me. No issues with these. Must be a ton of stock out there that just weren't used. There is no PCI-E 5.0 connection, so be aware of that.

Just to clarify, are you saying that this PSU (which is marketed as "low-noise") is actually noisy?
