There's nothing wrong with sugar. You just don't get a quart 32oz-fl "big gulp" of sugar water soda everyday EEK!

Back in the day, these people needed carbs and protein/fiber to get through the day. They didn't watch TV all day, they actually moved around most of the day. Glucose is essential. Your body and brain runs on carbs, not protein.
