Depends on the iron / nickel content.

I've got these. They are nice as measuring spoons, but the little magnet is a problem. They are glued to the back and half of mine have fallen off over time. Where did they end up? In the dishwasher? Down the drain? In my small intestines?

We have a few sets of these purchased under several different "brand names". The only difference is that one set has a full oval black magnet area and another set has a cut-off oval. I bought 4 sets last time I saw a deal around $3 and gave them as gifts. Here is the first example that I could find that is the same but for $5. https://www.amazon.com/Magnetic-M...B0DL5FWVR3

I think All Clad and other stainless-steel cookware for induction stoves, might question that logic. 😄

Looks like the magnet is so that the spoons can stay together when not being used. This allows for spoons on both ends, rather than the more traditional spoon on one end, and hole with a ring to keep the spoons together on the other end.

Ditto. The magnets are in the black plastic and over time in the dishwasher may come loose. You can reglue them. Wish they were color-coded for easier sizing but otherwise work great.

Do not get these! The prints will gradually fade away and sometimes the magnets fall out. My wife had bought one and at least 3 of them dont have their measurement prints anymore
