Looks like somebody left their vice grips a little too close to their crescent wrench. 😆
Could help to avoid rounding the head off bolts or nuts. Might give it a try.

this is new... have been looking for locking pliers. Feel like this tool is not as versatile.

I can see a use. Rounded nuts or bolts that you can feel but not see. I'll bite. I pretty much have everything other unique tool.

I have a craftsman of similar design and love it. Easily my favorite of the crescent style wrenches. The ability to lock onto a nut on 1 side and not have it fall off while turning the bolt is handy.

This also has both SAE and metric markings so you know what the size is.

Seems like actual vise grips would be more helpful there. This is gonna slip if it's even slightly rounded. Really have a hard time seeing a use case for this. Looks like something someone built because nobody else had. Now that I've said that, I'm sure someone is going to respond with how this tool changed their life.

This is the dumbest "tool" I've ever seen. And really, all I see is a hammer.

I'll try one I think it's for those bolts/pipes you need to get a firmer grip on without putting teeth marks on them by using actual vise grips cause these are flat jaws.

Jokes aside, I really like to use tools like this on brass air fittings, It is really easy to round off the tiny hex on them when using a standard open end. The tight clamping with parallel jaws really makes a difference, as long as there is enough room for for the tool.

It looks sorta useful. At least the comments are good.
What is this called, a Cresce Grip? A Vicent Wrench?
No good tool can exist without a name.

This tool changed my life.

But not for the reasons you'd expect.
