This is a great price! But, be mindful. The reviews for this don't look very promising. There is a lot of complaints about it shutting off unexpectedly.

Thanks, yes - numerous negative reviews for this product over at Home Depot, many very recent (fall 2025). I'd take a gamble if this was sold by Home Depot and thus returns were easy should it really arrive defective. Direct Tools Outlet's return policy is less flexible (30 days vs 90 days at HD) plus they have far fewer physical locations to return to.

I would agree. If it was a HD sell, would be worth the gamble. Not so much with Direct tools.

I have this for about 1 or 2 years now, for basement finished floor, residual sheetrock dust after sweeping and several vacuuming passes. I used this thing and it worked great. No problems, no shut offs. I also picked up on sale a replacement brush roller, filter and bottle of cleaning solution. Works great for hard floors. And the self clean feature is nice. I paid over $300 for it, with 4.0 HP battery and charger and full kit.
