I am an electrical engineer
100% of heaters are 100% efficient.
It's the only machine we can build with that kind of efficiency.
Now it may not have coils inside that do 1500w, but if it consumes 1500w, it will heat 1500w

Thanks will use this to heat my laundry room when it is in the 20's. No heat or air since it is in my garage.

Completely depends on your electric rate. Here I have $0.36/kwh so not so great. This is only supposed to be used for a single room tho. Fine as backup or spot heating. For instance our guest bathroom is always cold….

Nice thing about 1500w heater is that all of them give off 1500w of heat. No reason to overspend except for features. All heat created equal.

Not exactly. I am not electric engineer but 1500w is the electric watts used and not necessarily mean the amount of heat generated. Poor heater might consume full watts but can be inefficient in generating maximum heat.

Electrical engineer here. Inefficiency is 100%. Which means all energy is converted to heat loss.

Sad that rates are that high in areas where Green has taken over. Still 8 cents here in midwest, however, this is the lowest in state. We have a few that are 15 KWH. Hawaii is over 40 LOL
