Just go blemished for $10 more, reconditioned is not the way to go at DTO
I am unfortunately well aware of the reconditioned roulette. These are going for the stick vac and I have plenty of batteries there's just a few old 4ah's I need to decomission. Think they're almost a decade old with moderate use and I'm gonna try to be responsible before they die and something not predictable happens. Stick vac monches the batteries quick like. Does a great job at our house tho. Even my 7 year old likes it. Gotta feed the good energy with that one!
Batteries Plus is not in the business of rebuilding/replacing battery cells in anything let alone Ryobi. I have heard people in the past say that their local Battery Plus reconditioned a battery so maybe a local ship provides an additional service (?) but very doubtful they replaced cells. There are a few battery services that do service Ryobi batteries (i.e. replacing the cells) for <$50. However, you have to send in your battery which probably adds another $15 to the service. Might as well buy brand new ones on sale.

"Reconditioned is not the way to go at DTO"
Disagree. I've purchased 40+ reconditioned batts from them over the years, they've all been fine.
