No, it is not. That was mainly the 14th Gen and that too the HX processors.

If you are looking for intel for quicksync for a plex server, yes. that's the only reason i'd go with an intel in this price range. AMD has better performance, power efficiency, and price in this bracket.

If you are running Plex on windows, it can use the AMD igpu too (possibly Linux too, haven't checked in a while), but just know amd GPU support is low on Plex's priority list vs Intel.

The demonic AI-generated product shot placed in the AI-generated robot hand without perspective or shadows gives me confidence about customer service.

You can run a GPU on usb4. It runs at the same speed as TB 3/4 (40gbs). TB5 is 80Gbs.

Generally speaking, I wouldn't expect much by way of customer service for any of these mini PCs. If it is a concern tack on the asurion warranty. That said I have a handful of random brand mini PC's running 24x7 for several years without issue. The biggest concern I've seen is cooling. I haven't run into it but some of the "slim" models that are super short seem to suffer from it under load. Mine even sit inside an enclosed cabinet.

I was being sarcastic about the confidence in customer service. 😁 Meaning, cheap, AI-generated product shots that look demonic and use bad graphic design will generally also cut corners on customer service. That said, I got the Firebat $230 A5P deal from Ali that was posted here a few months ago, and purchased extra warranty. So far so good, I'm really loving the Firebat A5P.

The aoostar maco h255 deal is vastly superior unless you really need Intel centric features like quicksync and PCIe 5 (vs the AMD counterpart at this price...and not even sure they implemented it here in this Intel machine)

You get oculink, ddr5 support, two network ports, and a much more efficient CPU overall. It does cost $509 now with coupon, but there's no tax.
