Depends how much you like the series.
I usually have edition-FOMO (just as intended), but I think for this one you can buy base now and later, if you want the extras, buy the "complete your collection" bundle thing on Steam when it gets discounted.

I've never played the series but it looks interesting... will likely pick up the base game. Tnx!

How does this series compare to the Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise?

Fun game, good value, but note the publisher always locks half the game away behind expensive DLC, which isn't included here.

LOL, the Sniper Elite franchise is a million times better than Ghost Warrior franchise in terms of production, lack of "jank," QOL, etc.....That being said, I still think some of the Ghost Warrior games, especially "Contracts" 1 and 2 are must plays. They are like the B movie version of the SE's but actually have a lot of cool RPG-ish type mechanics. That is if you can deal with some of the the very questionable design choices.

The early games in either series (1 and 2 in both) are probably not worth a play unless you just love the series. And FWIW "Sniper: Art of Victory" (before SGW1)... whoever was involved in that project needs to be jailed.

The only game from both series I have played so far is Contracts 2. I'll try this one out. Thanks.
