This being called a "deal" makes me want to get a pitchfork and find where Scam Altman lives.

So... Only TWICE as expensive as it was a few months back. Yeah, actually qualifies as a deal.

You forgot to flag these as computer parts, so it's not showing up in that category.

Not just him. The shortage didn't even kick in yet. This prices going up from the news.

I know where prices are heading, and although I don't need it right now, jumped on the Gen 5 BBY drive. I don't like supporting Micron because they cut crucial. Note that this is 10000/8500 - it is more like Gen 5 Value. Certainly won't support Sandisk, as they are flat out gouging anyone stupid enough to buy their drives at those prices.

AI may not have been a bubble initially. But when every human on the planet not getting screwed into not being able to afford a computer so Altman and company can sext with the latest robot model while other companies replace everyone below the c suite with it, the perception changed from "wow that's cool" to "gfy". And that one small change, in my random prediction on a random website, made everything AI reviled.

Yeah. It can shop for me, but I don't have a job and my computer is 10 years old now, so...
