This is not an overpowered Surron type bike. It's a basic e-bike that you have to pedal, no throttle.

FYI - they are tall. I'm 6'0 and feel like it would be good for 5'10" and up.

This is the deal finders version of a Velotric T1, Ride1Up Roadster, or Babymaker. I've had one for years (along with GoCycles and a Ride1Up) and I'm very happy. At $499 it's a no brainer with the right expectations.

I never shift my e-bikes. I just change the amount of assist. Less complicated, less maintanence
I consider this an ebike for someone that wants some health benefit from it. Not a throttle and cruise.
