Good price. I bought Venturist Pro as re-certified from Woot on Black Friday. I put it through its paces , no complaints. No excessive noise, good build quality. I recommend getting it with the accessory 48 oz container. Containers purchased with a blend enjoy the full 10 year warranty instead of the limited warranty if you buy them later.

The 10 yr warranty includes free pick up and return within 10 days, parts and labor. Good any time service is required not just a one time replacement. Every subsequent owner enjoys the same warranty with no POP required.

i don't know which model I have, but we have a Vitamix that I bought about 4 years ago from QVC on one of their special value deals. We've been pretty happy with it. I've used it for a lot of different things even made soup a couple of times. The one I have is loud, real loud. I do wish is had a glass bowl instead of plastic. If you make soup, it needs to run for about 6-7 minutes at highest speed. I have a large kitchen, but it is so loud I don't hang around when running for a long time. The motor is so powerful that most things don't take long. I would buy it again.

High power blenders can't have a glass container. Dangerous. The model number and production date are on the bottom. Explorian is the noise king.
