I bought this from Costco I think for $79? Love it, sound is very...rich maybe is the right word? I wish mine was green instead of black.

Check Amazon for silicone covers. It doesn't change the color of the speaker itself but there are probably plenty of other color options to choose from

I'm not so much of an audiophile but i really like these for what they are. It does get loud and it is pretty durable. I believe I also got it for around $79 or $99 but that was for the 1st gen model.

Not sure how the battery is holding up, but I get at least a day's worth of listening while snowboarding. Yes, give me the hate lol.
I've also used this in the shower as well, but i don't take extremely hot showers and I tend to keep the door open.

Now the cons? Me personally none, i love it.

But my buddy has one and he is having connectivity issues, and it randomly shuts off or drop connection. Honestly, think he has a lemon.

I've used it for both android and ios and didn't have any issues connecting to the speaker.

Overall, I like it!

I got two of these from previous deals. If you have two of these, or one of these and another compatible Bose speaker, they can connect for surround sound or just for louder volume in general. half the time they connect so I can do surround sound or have the same music coming out from both of them.
The other half of the time one of them just keeps disconnecting and they won't seem to connect at all to each other

I really like these. I have some 300+ Edifiers and they are better but obviously the soundlinks are not that use case.

They are rugged durable and sound is acceptable enough for what they are. For the dude saying the sound is "rich" i agree. Its a bassy deep rich sound. Love the texture on the outside. I often do party mode with this + soundlink revolve+ 2. Very nice "surround sound" experience for portable speakers. I saw them on prime sale a while back for less but this aint bad.. id get it if i had to again or maybe two revolve+ .
