This Kobalt 24 volt trimmer and blower combo stands out as a strong value because the battery and charger alone are close to the $69 price. The blower has two speeds and a trigger lock, and it handles patio and driveway cleanup well after mowing. The trimmer is described as powerful and effective on tall grass, though it is heavier than expected and the blower can struggle with wet leaves or big piles. It fits light to medium yard work best.

The blower can handle light grass cleanup on patios and driveways after mowing.

The trimmer can cut tall grass effectively for light to medium yard work.
eric10101
The blower can offer multiple speeds and a trigger lock to reduce finger fatigue.
RFRQ
The combo price can be comparable to buying a single 24V 4Ah battery by itself.

Some store experiences can fail to honor the $69 online price, with staff requesting a much higher total.
okhello nfmred
The blower can struggle with wet conditions or massive leaf piles.
eric10101
The trimmer can be underpowered for heavy "jungle" cutting and moving large leaf piles.
eric10101
The package can arrive with a ripped-off box even when the contents are reportedly brand new.

Common Questions (5)

The $69 price appears to be online-only in some stores, and in-store checkout may ring up much higher unless you order through the app for in-store pickup. Some locations also show limited stock or only a notification button.
okhello nfmred DanielW17 sk79
The trimmer is reported to cut tall grass well and is described as very powerful, but it is not meant for heavy "jungle" cutting. It is also heavier than expected, so it suits regular trimming more than extended heavy-duty use.
eric10101 komondor RFRQ
The blower works well for patios and driveways, light grass cleanup, and general yard debris, and it has multiple speeds plus a trigger lock. It struggles with wet leaves or large piles, so it is better for light to medium cleanup than heavy leaf moving.
eric10101 RFRQ
The combo is about the price of a single 24V 4Ah battery by itself, so it can be a strong value even if you already have other Kobalt tools. That makes the blower and trimmer effectively the extra value in the bundle.
Yobogoya DanielW17
Free delivery was available briefly, but it later showed a $79 delivery fee. Store pickup was used to avoid the shipping charge.

Lowe's directly supports Flock. Also sorry unc, I ain't buying your harbor-freight-tier tool brand lmao

"That harbor freight tool brand" is actually excellent.
Fortunately, for me, I'm already good on 24V equipment.

Hit or miss for me. Actually I got into a string of misses, the final straw was their staple gun that stopped working after firing 3 staples. I ended up returning all the tools I bought in one fell swoop. Haven't been back since.

Good deal! This is about the price of one 24V battery (4Ah) by itself.

I've been using this combo for the last two years on two rental properties. The blower does a good job of removing the grass from the patios and driveways after I'm done mowing. It doesn't do great with anything that's wet, or massive piles of leaves. It works great to stoke a bonfire! Trimmer does a fine job on tall grass, just don't expect to cut your way out of a jungle. If your main goal is moving leaves, this may not be powerful enough. I would definitely recommend to anyone who will have light to medium usage.

I found one at the store near my house, but this store said out of stock and they still didn't honor me for the price of $69 and they wanted me to pay $155. That is ridiculous isn't. The box was ripped off, but the contents are still brand new. They said $69 is for online price, but thatt store said OOS and I couldn't order it. WTF....
