If you are considering this, please be aware that there was a period of time when there was a huge rash of LOQ laptop motherboards failing. I'm not sure if or when they got that problem resolved, but do your due diligence to make sure this particular model isn't affected by that.

Seem to be mostly Intel boards and people mostly complaining were from India. I suspect maybe faulty firmware/hw along with high ambient temps and long game play.

The processor is the only difference I believe, idk if it's worth the 40$ dollar price jump compared to that, but I heard the ryzen saves on battery.

I bought this. Been looking for a budget gaming laptop.

I think this one will check all my boxes. I believe it has expandable Ram and Storage slots as well.

Thanks for providing additional info. I didn't check too deeply at the time because by the time I started running across these reports I had already had my heart set on a Legion 7 Pro.
