LG 39GX90SA-W 39-inch Ultragear WQHD (3440 x 1440) OLED Curved Gaming Monitor 240Hz, 1ms, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, webOS, USB Type-C, White
Bought one when Costco had them for under $600. 800r is WAY TOO much for me personally. I stuck with my trusty ole Alienware 38" which I love with its 2300r curve.

I'm in the opposite camp. Now that I've had 800r I'll never go back to 1000 or 1800r
this curve is perfect for fps, racing, etc. I can see all corners without having to move my head/eyes much.
I got mine from costco for $588 or whatever the price was as well. Loving it so far. I don't mind that it's not 4k, even though I have a 5090 I don't see the point of driving 4k pixels on giant monitors I can't see all the corners at the same time on anyway.
also for those that wonder, the ppi "issue" is way overblown. I don't see a difference unless you REALLY zoom in or your eyeballs are 1/4" away from the screen to see artifacts on some letters in text. At normal viewing distances it's perfectly fine.

2300r you may as well just have a flat screen

5k2k release and the crazy pc prices give me the impression that other parts will come down a bit to try and maintain sales.
i expect to see this at $599 sometime this year.
