How does this compare to an older LG OLED TV?
Edit: maybe this will answer my question. But it doesn't refer to the year for the LG. (In my case, it's 2018.) https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...8603/88608

Not really since it was revealed as part of the negotiations that Sony required that TCL retain the Bravia brand on the TVs TCL will produce as part of the deal. And Sony will still carry a 49% stake in the Bravia brand.
I own this exact model. Bought it for same price on Cyber Monday. Decided to go with Best Buy with the idea of any returns being easier. No issues with delivery and the TV has been great. Just make sure you update to the latest firmware. The OTA updates did work so I had to do it manually from a post on avs forums. The 4K HDR content is outstanding and I love watching NFL games on it (after firmware update).
Great tv. I bought mine at this price and have zero regrets. I have a Samsung S90F on the way, so I'll be able to do a direct comparison between this and an OLED soon.
I know the OLED will be better, but I'm not convinced it'll be worth the price difference.
