I wonder if the sprayed on chrome finish starts chipping/flaking off within a year like their kitchen shelf does. Looks like the same poles.

All of these come with a strap/attachment at the top to secure the shelf to your wall. Do not skip this step. These are tall and skinny. They will dump over on you, and possibly leave a fat hole in the opposite wall when it happens .... 🤣

I had this too. It's honestly not as bad as they say and will do the job if you just need something very basic. Yes. It's flimsy but you can attach it to the wall with the accessories that are included. Rust might develop but barely if you keep it clean after the first signs.

I have it now and it looks horrible from the rust. I'm looking for a replacement, but never this one again.

If you have to attach it to the wall anyway, why not put up a shelf or shelves instead?
