No coupon for me either, plus this doesn't have nearly enough theanine or "botanical herbs" to be effective. 5mg of melatonin is fine.

How effective are these for sleep? Or would anyone recommend a different non-gummy thing to aid sleep

As a professional athlete, I got prescribed 0.5mg melatonin together with 250mg of magnesium. Got told also by the docs that it's really bad for your body in general if you get yourself used to anything over 2mg.

you can get melatonin in non gummy form for wayyy cheaper. i get 5mg and break them in half. 5mg will make me groggy all the next morning. gotta take like 30-60 min before you wanna sleep for better results

You might want to try zinc supplements. For me, they promote very deep sleep — sometimes even vivid or unusual dreams — along with other benefits zinc is known for. They're generally inexpensive, but it's best to start with a low dose and see how your body responds, since everyone reacts differently to supplements.

One important note based on my experience: after zinc kicks in, I've felt drowsy and slightly dizzy during long, monotonous driving. Because of that, I'd avoid prolonged driving after taking it. Your experience may be different, but it's something to be mindful of.

As always, listen to your body and adjust accordingly.
Edit: also ZMA

You could just 1 gummy vs 2 and. It would be 2.5 mg

And melatonin is probably bad if you take it constantly and it causes your own body to produce less of it naturally
