fyi these are micro-usb.. but its not a deal breaker, just get one of those micro-usb to usb-c adaptors

I may not have tested long enough, but I played a bit with RetroPie and it worked pretty well. Emulation Station detected it as an Xbox 360 controller, mapped the buttons and was ready to go. The swappable D-pad button is helpful for some games like SF2 that use a lot of quarter/half-circle moves.
