I ordered this a couple of weeks ago with my Jan S&S for $2.12. It arrived with the mayo on bottom of the jar gray. Yuck. Got my $2.12 refunded. I know some people say that the gray is air or the recycled plastic, or whatever.... but I can buy mayo all day long withOUT the gray so I'm not taking a chance on it being bad.

All the brands mentioned in this thread have the primary ingredient as soybean oil. Real mayo is hand made and is a whole other flavor and texture. Not sure how this gets branded as real. Where can I buy fake mayo

Just make your own. Takes a few minutes and tastes a hundred times better. Literally blend the following:
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper (if you want)
  • ¾ cup light olive oil
Immersion blenders work best
You couldn't pay me enough to eat store bought mayo, Hellman's or otherwise.
