Anyone else seeing these notices more and more often on Amazon?
I just live in a regular normal area of California in the Greater LA area, which should be high volume business.

When I see it, Amazon is defaulting to the whole foods I go to. No idea why it does that

They probably don't have stock in your regional warehouse.

isn't 3440x1440 sort of low for this size of monitor?

I would say it really depends on your eyesight and if your programs scale well also your usage (like artwork vs gaming vs. reading).

But personally I'd say 38" is a sweet spot for 4K, and 27" is a sweet spot for 1440.

I have a 1440 Dell 38" btw and its really nice -- even from 2012 -- so if price is the issue and you just want a nice immersive screen & like everything else, then just price it out vs. 4k options.

It's roughly the pixel density of a 32 inch 1440p monitor. Which is what I use. Which is perfectly fine.

Also if you only care about pure specs as a PC monitor, you can get a similar dumber black model for $650 Refurbished - Excellent. The updated white model primarily just adds the smart tv type bullshit and the usb c port. The specs such as refresh rate/response times/contrast ratios/curvature/stand etc. are all otherwise the same.

I have this exact model and tend to sit close. For gaming its a non issue. Infact your gpu will push this resolution much better than 4k as far as FPS because of the decrease in resolution (even a 5090 isnt hitting 240 AAA gaming at this resolution). For reading and text within a month or two once I got it all dialed in I don't see anything noticeable. Strangers definitely don't see anything. In reality the finest lines of text when minimized will display some fringing on the edges. If you don't crank your brightness to max (a bad idea anyway) its effect is lessened.

If you're using it for gaming the immersion is going to be more noticeable than the middling pixel density imo. I have a 45" and feel the same way about it even at its absurd size.

Why not get the 39GX900A-B for the same price?

The -W is the webos version with a white finish while the -B is the non webos version with black finish and freesync pro
