Doesn't seem to take advantage of UHS-II. But they'll gladly mention USB 3.0 speeds even though it can't even read the SD cards at those higher speeds.

Just returned two of these. The first one could read but wouldn't write to SDHC card without error and causing, both, MAC Finder and Windows File Explorer to crash. Tried my luck on a second one, and it wouldn't even read let alone write. Returned both and went with the Acer that has USB-C and USB-A connections on each end. My other readers/writers had no problem with the cards I tried which were both SDHC and SDXC. I'd avoid these.

I have this as well and it's pretty solid. That said, this seems to be the regular sale price for this item.

I can't plug this into an iPhone and *easily* put photos from the phone onto an sd card, can I?

...to distinguish from 2.0, which was more common when these first came out.

You can plug it in and import FROM a card easily. To export TO a card is a more cumbersome, but doable

My main gripe is that mentioning 5120 Mbps USB speed is deceiving. Maybe the USB is capable of that speed but the actual product as a whole is not.
