I have one in my house and one in my car, and I doubt I'll ever go back to hardwoods or leather.

But still, "vegan leather" is a stupid term. Just trademark something.

Something like this can be produced without leather and still be cruel to animals in the making of the product. If the label vegan is used it lets those who care about that type of thing know that the item should have been produced cruelty free.

Never understood vegan leather. It's just an excuse to sell cheaper plastic and appeal to smug people who think they have a clean conscience. No one is actually killing cows or any sort of animal just for their hide. Have you even seen beef prices lately? I was taught long ago in scoo that the injuns greatly respected the animals they hunted and consumed for sustenance and used every single part of the body without waste. I think it's even more disrespectful and cruel to leave the skin unused. I have nothing against this product itself. Just the garbage marketing and lifestyle/moralistic preaching and pandering.
