Had these bought from Kohl's for 30 or 40 dollars.
Regret buying them, the two part separate blade and handle is terrible.
You can't soak them in water or dishwash them without water getting inside the hollow handles to later leak out in rusty streaks.
The steak knives at least were solid. Ended up keeping those, the scissors and the block. Replaced the hollow knives with an old standard set of full tang carbon steel with wood grips, the old steel is much better and can hold an edge much longer when sharpened.

You must have bought something else. I bought this same set from amazon 10 years ago for $59. Wash them in dishwasher constantly. Leave them sit in bowls of water to soak. Sharpen them, bend the tips back when they get bent. Never had an issue with any of them.

No. You had a completely different knife set. These are one piece from blade to tang—there's no separation. They're great knives for the price. Looks before you comment.

Bought these on a previous deal. I feel they are worth it, though the shears appear to be of dubious quality. They broke for no explicable reason right at the joint. Were never used for anything more substantial than your typical cuttable ingredients. Working on warranty replacement but the company has not been responsive.

we got this for our wedding 14 years ago, replaced all the knives I actually use (chef's knife, serrated knife, paring knife) with good ones. Don't waste your money. I do use the honing steel and the block though.
