They have so many good reviews on BestBuy. Youre not going to get $4000 value at a $400 price

Honestly, outside of the very high end, TV reviews are about useless.Every manufacturer has at minimum 3 tiers of product. When you're in a retail environment, it's easy to see how much better the $3000 OLED is.While I respect the technology, my first TV was a 13" in my bedroom. The fact that you can get a 75" TV for so cheap today, is enough for many people. And let's be real, some of these will fail within a year or two, but most will last 5+ years without issue.

??

Rtings gave it a 4.9 for mixed usage, specifically saying it "is a bad TV overall".

These are awful TVs. They have terrible contrast and black uniformity, a washed out image and light bleed. LG's OLEDs are amazing, but their regular LEDs are pure trash.
It's only bad when you have something compared to. This TV is going to better for 90% of the people that are replacing there existing units. Image quality is over reated these days. Picture quality has come along way, most people should be comparing features.

They're designed for bright rooms with wide viewing angles... LG is one of the few who makes TV's for this need. Their Viewing angles are second to none at this price point.
Dark Room, get OLED.
They have their place though, for regular TV viewing, they're quite good, and hold up well.

The rtings bright room score is 5.2. Let's be honest, you are better off spending a bit more for a better TV unless you really like the LG brand. My last LG lasted 3 years. No thanks.
