These don't have internal storage, so they need to be paired with a separate device. The DJI Mic 2 and DJI Mic 3 both have internal storage to record audio on their own.

I love these, but I don't understand why everyone holds them like a microphone. They have adjustable sound levels and they pick up your voice just fine when you attach them to your shirt and learn how to adjust the volume properly.

It probably started as a way to create engagement then everyone started doing it. Also gives the speaker something to do with their hand

Not a bad deal, I bought 2 of these for $150 each. You can control the decibel of the mics. Each set comes with 2 microphones & each can be clipped on or used with the magnetic attachment. Wind screens are included and the doc can recharge the mics. Very simple , compact and convenient. I use it for my slot machine plays.
