Physical media is being phased out for them due to costs and exclusive games have been minimal this past generation aside from Nintendo.
PC is cheaper in the long run and if Valve/Steam can give the console experience with free online and better sales maybe M$/$ony/Nintendo might stop hiking subscription prices.
Cloud gaming is gaining popularity GeForceNow, Amazon Luna, Netflix, Xbox Cloud, PS Streaming and Boosteroid, AirGPU, ShadowPC all offer it but it depends on your internet speed & location and can get costly and all have their issues/limits such as cost, time limits and game selections and connot play with mods(shadow can but it went from $10/m to $38-55/m a few years back).
This is a PS5 deal so you're bound to get downvotes. Mine was worth it at $350 but $ony needs to give the players access to all the ps1/2/3/4 games and they are just sitting on good IPs.
