Brake cleaner? Have you considered buying it in 5 gallon buckets and then using a reusable pressurized sprayer (like the Maddox one from Harbor Freight)?

We had done that before but it was a pain getting it moved around since our 6 bay lower level pits have different levels and the price on those have also gone up a lot. The employees like the ease and getting the job done faster with a can but I'm considering installing a 55gal drum and running pressured lines to each bay with mineral spirits.

OK grandpa.

There's a reason both exist, and the NC works well enough for most uses and more importantly, to some, is that it is allowed where chlorinated is not (race tracks, drag trips, etc.)

This matters for welding shops too. Trace residues of chlorinated brake cleaner, when heated above 315C, will create a very deadly phosgene gas. It's a corner case, but it's a bad one.

Wally had a similar deal on STP brake cleaner last week. I think it was $2.98 at my local store, I picked up 10.
