I have the black ones and like them. They rely on a latch instead of a magnet, so they don't pop open when you touch the cord. The latch does get triggered sometimes because it's so large, that's annoying.

How's the glue/adhesive? I had some that were magnetic and the annoying thing was that the adhesive was bad, so even if the clasp stayed closed, they would detach from the adhesive.

I would get a double-sided tape to fix that issue. Double-sided tape is widely used for other things in your house anyway.
