No that's the graphic novel. These have dozens of epic illustrations from Alan Lee, he was involved in some of the concept art for Peter Jackson's Lord of The Rings movies.

He is a renowned Tolkein artist who was sought out by Peter Jackson to be part of the film trilogy. He served as a conceptual artist for the films and even assisted with painting some of the "bigature" sets used in the films.
