Roku is useless. Google, I could understand. You can't install nothing on Roku other than the standard apps like Netflix etc

Will the OS on this thing be locked down from installing Kodi like what they are doing to other Fire devices? It will be just as crappy as roku if they really do it

Could always just get the onn device from Walmart (i got ours for 18$) and it allows for 3rd party apps (our firestick gave us a lot of trouble last year or so)

If you grew up with Pong and creaming over a 37" Sony "Super Black Screen" that weighed 82 lbs and very soon after paid 3,800 2026 dollars for your 1st flat screen (42" plasma), I'm looking at my 4 year old $250 55" like it's a total piece of crap lol. Looking at Costco TVs reminds me of the 1st time I walked into Caesar's Palace 30 years ago. Completely blown away. Yeah, yeah, I know...nice story dude.
