Yeah, not really much of a deal for a 9a. It's also $399 at the google store and can take trade-ins there as well. Should drop a good bit too in just over a month once the 10a comes out near the beginning of March

EDIT: I just now read the point that the rising cost of ram chips is also effecting phone prices, so maybe just not going up in price is still a good deal....?

It was great when Visible had them for $200. Decent phone but I wouldn't pay much more.

The official MSRP of the Pixel 9a is $499. However, as suggested here this particular model's MSRP should almost never be accepted. Though the current RAM shortage could impact the availability of discounts and deals on devices in the short term like this 8GB phone, the reality is that discounts remain plentiful for anyone shopping the Pixel 9a so research options with either MVNOs or existing mainstream carriers.

Currently, as an example, T-Mobile is discounting the MSRP on the Pixel 9a down to $299. For anyone maintaining service on T-Mobile, this price can be further discounted by some remarkably generous trade-in valuations documented here: https://slickdeals.net/f/19073131-get-revvl8-free-with-trade-in-of-phone-any-condition-100-costco-gift-card-available-18-5?p=181762078#post181762078

Good luck!

I would avoid this phone after my experience with battery issues on the P4a and P6a. Google has already announced that the P9a's battery will start having its capacity reduced starting at 200 charge cycles to "preserve battery health". The battery capacity will be reduced at multiple points over its life, every 200 charge cycles, so its not a one time reduction either.
