Anyone knows difference between Deluxe, Premium and Business versions?

I heard they are the same just marketing but not sure. What will be good for W2 and single person LLC?
The general version differences are explained on the H&R Block website: https://www.hrblock.com/tax-software/

Often it comes down to the specific IRS forms one needs as to which version one should use.

This one says "+ State" but when it's time to file, they charge $20.

Is this true to all State or just California?

For my state the first filing is free but the next one is $15 so maybe its a Calif thing being charged $20 for the 1st one

The website is misleading. Deluxe can handle W2 and an LLC. It's possible there is additional guidance in premium, but nobody has been able to demonstrate what that is exactly.

Free to e-file your NY state returns - NY has a law that says the software co's cannot charge for e-filing.

This is not entirely true.
"Free File options are available through the state's partnership with the Free File Alliance for taxpayers with lower incomes (e.g., federal AGI ≤ $89,000 for 2025). However, the software provider may still charge a base fee for preparing the state return (e.g., FreeTaxUSA charges $15.99 to prepare the NY return, but does not add an extra e-filing fee on top of that)."

This software will allow you to file your NY state tax return without any additional cost, which is the actual point...

Great deal, probably a good time to buy for this year. I doubt it goes too much lower.
