How good is this deal? Worth spending anther $100 on i7?
Older parents need a new Laptop that will last, mainly for internet/bill pay.

You can find much better priced laptops for these specs. The 16GB Ram is only DDR4. Ideapad from Lenovo usually go around this price with same specs but DDR5

Just looked at this at Bestbuy. The bottom plastic was coming off tried to snap it back in. Noticed all HP in that price point were the same junk plastic and were not pressed in the laptop.
