Many of you have probably heard that a 32" 1440p monitor has the exact same pixel density as a 24" monitor at 1080p. They are basically the same.
Do the math:
24" 1920 x 1080 = 2203 diagonal pixels (you can figure this out with the very simple A^2 + B^2 = C^2 Pythagorean theorem).
2203 / 24 = 91.8 PPI
32" 2560 x 1440 = 2937 diagonal
2937 / 32 = 91.8 PPI
Well, now we have a 40" monitor at 1440p. That has to be terrible pixel density, right? WRONG. This is not a standard 1440p monitor at 2560W. It's wide at 3440.
Let's do the math
40" 3440 x 1440 = 3729 diagonal
3729 / 40 = 93.2 PPI -- barely, but still better Pixel Density.
Also, and I bet this is going to surprise some of you, but a 4k standard size monitor at 40" is only about 19% better pixel density. Still good, but worth the extra $500?
Again, let's do the math.
40" 3840 × 2160 = 4405 diagonal
4405 / 40 = 110.1 PPI
Literally just 17 PPI > than the 93 PPI of this monitor, roughly an increase of 19% pixel density.
So, if you don't mind not having ultra sharp 1440p 27" quality, or 4k sharpness, then this is actually pretty darn good. This is some serious bang for your buck.

Will this give me more fps and solve my VA nightmares hmmmmmmmmm so tempting.
The world part of the VA panel is the constant black smearing from scrolling on browsers to walking in games. IM GOING CRAZYYYYYY

I did the math its 93 PPI.
1440p looks terrible on a 32" size and is 92 PPI.
Id say the only thing stopping me from buying it now is the PPI. I dont want to see the pixels. Anyone own it and notice the PPI?? I could see the pixels in a 1440p on 32. Im scared.

IPS or VA have backlight bleed on large flat screens. Visible even on a 29" ultrawide monitor. I would also like to add another question if any owners notice backlight bleed on the left and right ends when they are sitting center??? Thanks

A real breakdown looks like this:
1080p max size 24.5
1080p UW max size 29
1440p max size 27
1440p UW (this monitor in topic) max size 34
4k is needed on anything higher than 34.
The PPI is too low otherwise.
Also, after reading reviews. This monitor has a huge Quality Control problem. Probably why they are letting it go this cheap. Many reviews say it stops working.
Also nobody answered my earlier question yet about backlight bleed around the edges. Particularly the left and right sides.
As IPS and VA panels on larger flat screens have noticeable backlight bleed caused by the angle. Any size beyond 27 should be curved in order to hide the backlight bleed.
The only exception is monitors with local dimming or OLED can ignore that rule.
For some reason, big tech continued to mock consumers by not curving IPS panels beyond 27 size. Backlight bleed is highly visible in all IPS and VA monitors on left and right sides in the bigger sizes.
It is my lifes regret that I sold my 42 C2 OLED. Those are flat and perfect, no backlight bleed on the edges as its OLED technology without a backlight.

I returned them.
One failed right out of the box and had to be replaced. (Costco shipped replacement pretty fast)
1. If you are using it like a normal monitor with distance less than 2 feet, the flat screen makes it too big and your eyes need to readjust to see the sides
2. It takes several seconds to almost 2 minutes (one time) for the monitor to wake up after I plug in my laptop.
3. When the monitor sleeps, usb c stops charging as well.
4. Resolution too low for size. I can see individual pixels.
5. Refresh rate is wonderful.
Points 1-3 made it a very frustrating experience.
I returned them and got the LG curved monitors instead.
P.S. Return in store was a pain as well. The serial number and the box didn't match for one of the monitors.
Its a great monitor for what it is. I suggest getting the software and tweak the resolution, it makes a big difference.
I sit 24-28" away from the monitor and its very good clarity. If I put my face nose touching the panel... Yes I can see pixels, but at 20" or farther away its not noticeable.
Its just as sharp as my 27" dell 4k 120hz monitors it replaced.
I can run 2 chrome windows side-by-side and not have to scroll sideways to see the full website/pictures/text.
websites are full screen, makes a perfect productivity monitor for sure.
