The Acer has more brightness, better color, and a better refresh rate if you get one without dead pixels, and you don't mind the coil whine. If you just need a cheap 1440p monitor they're both ok. The Acer is better, but the Samsung probably has better quality control. This is a version specific to walmart that doesn't have speakers, and probably has lower quality panels too. Under the verified purchases half of the reviews are bad, and at least one of the good ones is someone who received the non-walmart version because they mention the speakers sounding good.
