I have a 12 qt i use for sous vide. I found a special lid that had the cutout for my Anova, been using for years.

I worked at Applebee's for a few days back in 2008. They had us open big half gallon containers of ranch dressing and dump them in these big containers for better storage. People really like ranch dressing.

Better to use something that retains heat better for efficiency. If you have a large dutch oven already use that. Only get plastic containers if you need something deeper for large sous vide items.

I have a few of these and some clear polycarbonate ones from Rubbermaid. While the clear pc ones look nicer, they also have a tendency to crack. These are a softer plastic and definitely take more punishment.
