Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank masterz13

When they work (90-95% of the time), they're amazing for noise cancellation. But they will randomly have issues -- the noise cancellation stops and you have to take the right earbud out for a few seconds to "recalibrate", the channel balance might shift almost completely to one earbud, and talking or chewing food will cause the seal to loosen.

Honestly, this looks like a great deal and I was kind of peeved I missed on the same deal a few days back. Only thing preventing me from pulling the trigger is the fact that I'd probably buy the 2 years of apple care anyway and at that point buying it from Costco at MSRP is only $10 more and with Costco it just comes with apple care and a better return policy.

I've been using my Beats Flex (bought around the $30-50) for couple of years now, bought them as presents and am able to have a "backup" or two --- never understood why someone would be spend half a computer price or travel ticket on headphones.

Just my two cents.

Don't worry, the Air PodsPro 3.5 (ultra pro max especiale) are rumored to be coming out soon, for the FOMO folks. But really, APP3 plus or something are indeed being reported.

Big caveat is if they fit your ears well. I had Airpod Pro 2 but couldnt get a good fit. Airpod Pro 3s fit to a t for me

AirPods Pro 2 have a more balance sound than the new ones according to Crinacle:

Crazy how much these come down in price 4 months after release. Interesting to see what the minor refresh includes this year

I was the same way with the Beats Flex too. But now that I've used better earbuds like the AirPods Pro 3, it's a night and day difference. The Flex sound muffled and too much bass...they also break after a year. I went through at least 3 pairs of them because the adhesive would loosen and make them unusable.

The biggest benefit for upgrading was the noise cancelling. You just don't get that in $40 earbuds.

costco website shows 249 for me, is the price 209 ($10 more) at the store?

NVM $10 above MSRP. Thanks
